Jonathon Kramer Music Theory
considers music not as autonomous but as relevant to cultural, social, and political contexts
"Speaking in Tongues" is the second single from their latest release Drinking from the Sun which is about how if you strip it back - we are all the same - and yet there is still so much discrimination in contemporary society... why we still persist on oppressing each other is baffling, and it comes from a place of ignorance. Even though it's not directly targeting any one particular facet of society it is still speaking out against a general political issue.

Tarantino's Self References
A way in which Tarantino self refrences in the film is when he uses camera angles which a featured in many of his films. This creates his trademark, it is known that as a directer he enjoys to feature elements that the audience will recognise it as his work even if it has little contextual value. This shot of from the victims point of view up to his/hers attacker is also seen in Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Kill Bill and Deathproof.
